Efflorescence is a natural occurrence in concrete pavers. As the pavers cure the efflorescence appears as a chalky white haze over the pavers. Usually after three months the curing process finishes. If sealer is applied prior to the end of this process, the efflorescence will appear under the sealer, giving the pavers a permanent hazy look, therefore it is crucial not to rush the sealer.
